Zorro and Son

A short-lived spoof on the Zorro character was aired in 1983. Henry Darrow, Zorro's voice in the Filmation animated series, played an aging Zorro whose feet hurt and back hurt. He brought his son, Don Carlos, played by Paul Regina, into the "family business." Bill Dana, famous for his character Jose Jimenez, played Bernardo. Produced by Disney once again, the familiar Zorro theme song echoed in the night, with a slight rewriting of the lyrics. "… the bold renegades both carved Z's with their blades… the foxes so cunning and free… Zorros, they make the sign of the Z."
