Zorro Joins Line-up of Sunday Movie Toons on Nickelodeon

Zorro Productions, Inc. proudly announces the release of a new animated video from DIC Entertainment. The Amazing Zorro is a seventy-three minute traditional Zorro story that airs on Nickelodeon as part of DIC's Incredible Movie Toons package.

The Zorro feature length animated movie is one of the first thirteen films which were produced as a part of that package.

The Amazing Zorro combines the four benchmarks of the Zorro legend – Action, Romance, Heroism and Humor. A heroic fight against injustice drives the plot. Zorro takes on the defense of the once wealthy Pulido family, whose lands have been confiscated by the corrupt Governor. The Pulidos are long time friends of Zorro's family, the de la Vegas. Don Pulido has been unjustly accused of treason for speaking out against the greedy Governor, and his family is forced to flee to a small hacienda outside the Los Angeles pueblo. The governor's evil Captain Ramon blackmails the Pulidos' lovely daughter, demanding her hand in marriage. Diego's father also demands that his son court the young woman, but she has fallen in love with Zorro.

Dazzling swordplay, clever stunts, dramatic whip action, and playful antics, particularly with the bumbling Sergeant Garcia, will charm both new and long time fans of the masked defender of justice.
