BKN International AG, a leader in global animation, has produced 26 episodes of Zorro. The first DVD, Zorro: Return to the Future, was released in the U. S. and Canada in November 2007.
ZORRO: GENERATION Z is set in the mythic Los Angeles-like city of Pueblo Grande about ten years into the future. Executive Producer Rick Ungar has fashioned a modern day Zorro character complete with his Tornado Z motorcycle and a flashy female lead, The Scarlet Whip. Ungar is responsible for other of BKN's successful brands, including Legend of the Dragon, Kong: King of Atlantis and Dork Hunters from Outer Space.
