Set and Costume Designer

Associate Designer for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Tom Piper's credits include: The Tempest, Henry VI Parts 1, 2 & 3, Richard III, Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Month in the Country, Troilus and Cressida, Measure for Measure, Bartholomew Fair, The Broken Heart, Spring Awakening, A Patriot for Me, Much Ado About Nothing, The Spanish Tragedy, Hamlet, King Lear and Twelfth Night.  He designed many productions for the 2004 New Writing Season and is currently working on a revised version of Henry VI Parts 1, 2 & 3 and Richard III for the new Courtyard Theatre in Stratford as part of their Complete Works season.

Tom was recently nominated for the Best Design Award in the TMA Theatre Awards 2005 for his work on Insignificance at the Sheffield Lyceum

Rafael Amargo

Choreographer and Musical Staging

He’s a movie star in Europe, a regular face on glossy magazine covers throughout the continent and one of the best-known flamenco dancers and choreographers, critically acclaimed for bringing flamenco into the 21st century.  His multi-award-winning, multimedia flamenco theatre production, “POETA EN NUEVA YORK,” based on poetry by Federico García Lorca, had its New York premiere at New York City Center.

Rafael Amargo founded his Flamenco Company ten years ago, and since then, he has worked in the most important Theaters, Festivals and Shows Worldwide. He has also received 4 Max Awards (Highest distinction of the Spanish Scenic Arts): two awards as Best Dancer and Best Dancing Show for “AMARGO”, one Best Dancer Award for “EL AMOR BRUJO”, and one Best Dancer Award for “POETA EN NUEVA YORK, a show which has also been awarded as Best Show of the Decade by the readers of the most important newspaper in Spain EL PAIS. He has also received the POSITANO LEONIDE MASSINE AWARD (Highest Dance distinction in Italy), granted to the most important world dancers.

Terry King

Stunt and Fight Choreography

Fight master Terry King has a distinguished career choreographing swordplay, stunts and whips in England with The Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theater, The Royal Court, as well as numerous musicals and operas.  Most recently, Terry choreographed the fight sequences for the hit musical Billy Elliot, Martin Guerre, Lord of the Ring, and Porgy and Bess.  His clean, crisp style partnered with his clear and patient teachingmanner result in dramatic visuals on stage for audiences to feel the clash of swords, the pounding of fists, and the crack of whips.
