John Cameron
Co-Composer
One of the most versatile composers in
Britain today, Academy Nominated
John Cameron created the musical score for every version of Les
Miserables around the world.
He won the New York Drama Desk Award for Les Mis in 1986 and the
National Broadway Theatre Award in 2002. The New York cast album won a
Grammy.
John has arranged/supervised music for shows including Joseph and
the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Honk! (Olivier award - Best
Musical), Spend, Spend, Spend (London Evening Standard Award -
Best Musical), Romeo & Juliet and most recently The Far
Pavilions.
As a Composer, John's film credits include the Oscar-nominated music
score for A Touch of Class, and the scores for over 40 Feature
& TV films. He is currently working for ABC/Touchstone on the The
Untitled History Project, a major current affairs mini-series
starring Harvey Keitel.
