Douglas Fairbanks romanced the lovely Mary Astor as Dolores in the 1925 film Don Q, Son of Zorro. Fairbanks played Don Cesar, who traveled to Spain to study, only to become embroiled in a murder. He also played the father, the original Zorro, who arrived in the climatic scene in Spain to duel along side his son and clear his name.
